Purchase and Payment Terms

Once your payment to us has been cleared, your order will be processed and dispatched.

We have no responsibility to supply you with any goods as may be advertised for sale on our website. When you place your order for goods, you are making a legal offer to us, which we may or may not decide to accept. A legally binding contract will exist between us when you receive an email from us that confirms your order.

Fulfilment and Delivery

We aim to dispatch your order within 5 business days of payment being received and cleared. Once you have placed an order, you will receive an e-mail confirmation saying that we have received and are processing your order. You will receive a second e-mail notifying you that your order has been dispatched.

We generally keep plenty of stock to meet any demand, however in exceptional circumstances we may be unable to meet a request and in this case will offer either an alternative product or a full refund within 5 business days of notifying you that this is the case.

We send our goods within the UK using the Royal Mail, at a cost of £1.50 per delivery plus 50 pence per item. We would normally expect Royal Mail to deliver your order within 1 week in the UK.

The postage rate is calculated according to the number of items you order and the location of the delivery address and added during the checkout process.

All orders to be sent Internationally are delivered using Royal Mail, at a cost of £4.00 plus £1 per item. We would normally expect your order to be delivered within 10 days.

Non-delivery

Should your order fail to arrive within 21 days from date of the payment being cleared, please let us know at info@ameliapearls.com and we will investigate further.

Cancellation and Returns

If for any reason you are unhappy with, or wish to cancel your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 7 working days after the date on which you received the item. Goods can only be returned if they are in a ‘re-saleable’ condition. We regret that we are unable to reimburse any postage costs.

Where the goods are returned at the customers’ expense, the customer must ensure that the goods are fully insured against loss or damage, as they will remain the customer’s responsibility until received and signed for by Amelia Pearls. For your protection we recommend that you use a special-delivery service which insures the product, as we are unable to consider returns that  we do not receive.

We will refund you for the amount you originally paid for the goods within 30 days from the date on which we receive the goods back from you.

You may also cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch. If your payment has been cleared we will refund you with the amount stated on the cheque within 30 days of our receiving written notice from you cancelling your order.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept returns of earrings for pierced ears, due to industry standards relating to hygiene.

We take great care to ensure every piece leaves us in perfect condition. Upon receipt of an order, if any item has been damaged during transport, customers should notify us (by phone or email) within 7 days if they wish to return the item. 

We will reimburse the postage cost of returning faulty goods within 30 days from the date on which we receive the goods back from you.  We will replace faulty goods with goods of an equivalent type and value, or as close there to as reasonably practicable.

We will endeavour to make price changes as soon as we have them however price and availability of products is subject to change without notice.

Whilst all reasonable care is taken to ensure accuracy of the contents on this site, please note that pearls are natural products and so no two strings of pearls are the same in terms of shape, size or colour. As natural products, they may also have small imperfections on them. Please note that the stated lengths of necklaces and bracelets are only approximate indications due to theirhandmade nature. Furthermore, in view of changes in reproduction on our website, there may be small variations in colour.

Changes to these Terms and Conditions

We may revise these terms and conditions from time to time.  If we do this we will post our revised terms and conditions here.  As we may make changes at any time without notifying you, we suggest that you consult these terms and conditions before making any order.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

You agreed that your purchase and any issues arising in connection with that purchase will be governed by English law and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

By purchasing a product you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions. None of the above affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
